DING!!! I AM NOW LVL 10!!
After grinding and questing, jumping and free falling for 4 days, (Yeah I know.. I'm a slow lvler) I got my long awaited level. I was so excited. Why? Because I get to tame pets! YES!!! I will now have my very own pet that will fight with me!
I skipped my way to the hunter's trainer, occasionally stopping to kill the rabbits. (I love rabbits, I do. I even have one at home! But these creatures on game.. they are so tempting.. I just had to shoot them >_< ) When I finally reached the hunter's trainer, I was given a quest - Taming the Beast. A noob at heart, I know not what to do. I started reading WoW site as to how to tame a pet. In the end, I decided that I was "knowledgable" enough to start with the taming quest.
Heart beating fast, I made my way to the spot where I was to tame a webwood lurker. I spotted one webwood lurker and started getting ready to tame it. "Oh No! Where is that taming rod?!"
I searched my bag, (filled with junks) but the rod was missing. I noticed an empty slot and I knew something was missing from my bag. I started to panic. "What am I suppose to do? How can I tame the webwood lurker without a taming rod? Where is my taming rod!!!!" /cry
Lucky for me, a level 50 hunter happened to be taking a stroll nearby. He heard me crying and came up to me asking if anything was wrong. I told him about my missing rod (it didnt magically went missing, I accidentally threw it away by left clicking on it instead of right clicking =S ) He then told me to abandon the quest, go back to the hunter's trainer and get the quest again.
Problem solved.
So back to the webwoods again but this time, I was more careful with using the rod. And as I started to tame the webwood lurker, it started charging towards me! Scared, I started running away!! Damn that spider!!
Thinking I did something wrong, I whispered the lvl 50 guy and asked him about it. First answer I got from him was "LOL!" He eventually stopped laughing and instructed me on the ways of taming a beast. Well, thats that. Off to tame that spider again!
This time, I knew what to do and I was prepared for the charging spider. After a few floating hearts, the spider was mine.
I was, like I've said previously, a noob. Upon finishing the quest, my pet mysteriously disappeared. I started looking around for it but it was gone! I then went back to the trainer and again I was presented with another quest. This time I was to tame a Night Stalker then after a Strigid Screecher. I did them with no problems at all.
After much thought, I decided to tame a Night Stalker as my perma pet. (for that time)
